"The only journey is the journey within." - Rainer Maria Rilke
Walking the path of your life journey, one step at a time, you wonder why you are here and what you are doing... Is there any meaning to your existence? How can you be in harmony with who you really are - and with the Universe?
In my book "The Magic of Willpower", I point out the importance of knowing yourself and knowing what you want, before you can making any strong decisions. You live today, every day, thinking certain thoughts, speaking certain words, performing certain actions... Are these a reflection of your own values, your own principles?
How can you be sure that this is what you are supposed to do? Where is the bigger picture that encompasses all life forms? Sometimes, you just trudge along, not knowing where this road will lead you... All you can do is cling to your dream and eventually, you will discover the truth - if not about this world, then about your inner world. The inner realm that comprises all your thoughts and feelings... Is it connected to the Source of all life?
This is your Divine Spirit, and it has all the answers, all the wisdom required for spiritual enlightenment... Reflecting on what is happening and how it is affecting you, "going within" allows you to get in touch with your true self, to undertake an inner journey as opposed to an outer one. This is a lifelong adventure and it will take you to many breathtaking places...
You check your perceptions against your emotions and find out whether what you perceive through your senses resonates with your inner being. You decide that whatever is in harmony with your vision can be kept, and what is discordant can be discarded. And just like music, what sounds discordant to you might not sound discordant to someone else.
But what is important is how you feel about what you observe, how you integrate that knowledge - how you transform it according to your dream. And when outer knowledge corresponds to inner wisdom, you gain a new insight that has the power to change who you are and how you live your life...
With much love,
Bella
